The famous fashion designer Marc Jacobs announced during New York Fashion Week that he is becoming the new creative director of Diet Coke. Kind of the icing on the cake is the contribution of "undressed" male icon of elegance in a new spot for 30th anniversary of Diet Coke on the market, referring to the ads in 1993. In cooperation with the company he designed also Diet Coke limited edition packaging inspired by the brand’s past three decades – the 80’s, 90’s and beginning of 2000. The packaging design is particularly emphasizing the growing importance of women in all walks of life during this period. Collection will be available in Western Europe since March.
