Surlyn is a widely used plastic material successfully imitating glass, which has found a new incarnation. DuPont Group has created a mouth-watering 100 ml bottles for Brazilian perfume brand L'acqua di Fiori. "We opted for this material because of its durability, transparency and lightness, which corresponds to the product design at the same time" - commented Janine Carvalho, a sales representative of the plastic packaging and consumer products division of DuPont in Brazil. The "Cupcake Me" line was inspired by the shape of the traditional American muffins and is very popular among teenage female consumers between the ages of 8-12 years. Both versions have a sweet fruit and sweets scent and consist of the body and lid with a round-shaped-surlyn spray with a cherry on top.
