The brand new „Spoonkler” cap from RPC is supposed to simplify the application of powdery products both for master chefs and cooking amateurs.

 European consumers are now able to easily spoon or sprinkle their meals using Bart spices thanks to a new deal flip top cap from RPC Halstead. The new closure was developed following consumers research which found that they complained over the uneasy opening of most spice jars.

The „Spoonkler” cap enables opening the container in two ways: either to reveal the part with small holes to sprinkle the product, or a full opening wide enough to fit a teaspoon. According to RPC the biggest challenge was to develop the opposing side hinges which enable the closure to be opened in either spoon or sprinkle mode. The closure was inject moulded in black polypropylene and features a gloss surface finish to maximise on-shelf appeal. „Spoonkler is versatile and user-friendly to suit all cooking techniques, and we are delighted with RPC’s contribution in helping us bring this unique concept successfully to market” – summarized Camilla Bond, Head of Markting at Bart.
