Colorful Konstantynów. Clariant invests in Poland.

 The celebration of 22 years of Clariant's (global supplier of packaging colorants) activity in Poland coincided with the opening of a new plant in Konstantynów. The manufacturing facility located in the Łódź Special Economic Zone is worth 11.3 million Swiss francs (about 38 million PLN), and will start production of masterbatch - color concentrates for plastics producerswithin a year. As Ralph Rutte, President of Clariant Poland, explains the decision of the plant's location was dictated to excellent results of the Polish branch of the company and a friendly work atmosphere created by local authorities. "Central Europe is a very promising market and Poland, as one of the major and fastest-growing regions, it is the perfect place for us for further investment. We believe that our commitment to the development of Konstantinow will pay off for both the company and the local community "- said Patrick Jany, CFO Clariant International AG. The opening ceremony was visited by Lukas Beglinger, a Swiss ambassador in Poland, and representatives of local authorities.
