In order to meet local entrepreneurs expectations, the Marshal Office of Greater Poland, once again prepared a showcase of achievements of designers, builders and manufacturers from Greater Poland region in the Temporary Museum for New Design in Milan. From 9-14 April 2013 the capital of international design will exhibit a PackDesign display from Greater Poland. The key word of the exhibition is the “packaging”. Emotions, style, fabric, music and video, all factors surrounding it an unusual packaging. Designed somewhat perversely, the exhibition will take form of a huge container presenting works of such companies based in Greater Poland as Dębowa, Gustaw Studio, Macrix, Pakato, Simplicity, Studio Tkaniny, TFP Grafika i Rogalemarcińskie.pl. The aim of the exhibition is to show the functions of the packaging - protecting the product, but also its visual aspects, which forms an intriguing business card. The presented brands are designing their own packaging (or on behalf of the most important Greater Poland enterprises) made of various materials, i.e. paper, cardboard, wood, glass, fabric. PackDesign from Greater Poland is also a way to promote the region which by presenting its potential wants to convince the international design and business world that Poland can compete with international brands on the level of ideas, inspiration, and final product – the packaging.
