More than 6 days, 19 halls, 2700 exhibitors and a record number of 175 000 visitors from over 120 countries – this is a brief summary of the biggest packaging trade fairs of the year. Thus, interpack defended the title of the most important event in this sector in the world. However, numbers itself do not reflect the incredible atmosphere which accompanied the visitors from 8 till 14 May in Düsseldorf. "We are very satisfied with the quantity and quality of visitors at our stand. We were equally thrilled by the high number of international visitors and exhibitors - some 75 percent of the exhibiting enterprises were outside Germany. With this interpack has confirmed its reputation as the world’s leading trade fairs for the packaging sector", summarized Friedbert Klefenz, President of Bosch Packaging Technology and President of the interpack Exhibitors’ Advisory Board 2014.
