Gepack, a Portuguese rigid plastic packaging manufacture, launched a container that solves the problem of transporting and consuming wine on the go. The designed PET bottle is made of two parts: 200 ml glass and a screw cap packaging in which the product is securely stored until it is opened. Due to conversion from glass to plastic, the producer eliminated the risk of breakage during transportation, while maintaining high barrier properties. The packaging allows putting the cup on the bottle, enabling a light and convenient transportation. Mini bottle with a cup looks quite elegant, is handy and can be used not only from drinks, but also for juice and water. According to the manufacturer, the containers can be shaped in more sophisticated forms of wine bottles with multiple color and print options.
